Please attend this event to discuss the byam shaw submissions, ways of reading the images, how as a group or individually to respond to the images, how to start planning the exhibition.

the date for this meeting has been set for a while, please attend if you want to continue with the exhibition.

1pm and the rooms booked til 4pm, though sure it will poss only be an hour or two. bring lunch if you like lunch, and a cup for tea. Have booked projector so we can look at the images on the blog big!

the images should not be attributed to your name, but do add your name to the list on the PARTICIPANTS page, found along the top of the home bar, above.

Glasgow: please only add an image if you know that you’re on the list and attended the meeting!

SUBMIT ONE IMAGE + ITS TITLE ONLY

Through discussions, we have decided that this is about interrogating the single photograph as documentary medium. You will only submit one photograph of your original work to the other city.

this cuts out transportation issues, and makes it more about the difficulty of summing up your work in one single documentary photo.

 

Communicating over Christmas Holidays

There is now a face book group called ‘gsa/byam shaw’. Please join this and add any others you know/think might be up for exhibiting in this.

The exhibition will be held sometime in February, a while before GSA’s end of term assessment. Sinead and Phoebe will talk through dates and their school timetables/deadlines and then will talk to Jamie/Moira, the staff in charge of exhibition spaces to find a date that fits into both schools events.
